- An adult horses brain weighs about half a humans!
- Horses can't vomit
- Horses like sweet flavours and usually reject sour or bitter flavours!
- Horses teeth never stop growing!
- If you touch the behind area of a horses ears if the area is cold the horse is cold
- Its takes aprox. 9-12 months to grow a horse hoof
- Horses have been found in cave paintings that date back to 15000 bc!
- Horse have 16 muscles in each ear which allows the horse to rotate their ears 180 degrees
- The oldest horse recorded was born in 1760 and died in 1822 thats 62 years!
- If a horse has a red ribbon on its tail it means it kicks (you might want to ask because the person might not know this but if theres no one to ask stay on the safe side!)
- Horses have 7 common blood types
- Horses will mourn the passing of a companion!
